Container Scanning Division (CSD) of Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House (JNCH) has introduced a new web portal, accessible at csd.jnpa.in, to enable stakeholders to check the status of containers selected for scanning. Stakeholders, including Customs Brokers, Importers/Exporters, Shipping Lines, Container Freight Stations (CFS), and Port Terminals, can verify whether a container has been selected for scanning and confirm its scanning and examination status.

To check the status, users must:

1. Visit the website jnpa.in.

2. Click on the “Check Container Status” option on the homepage.

3. Enter the container number, IGM number, and IGM date, then click “Check Status.”

All stakeholders are advised to use this procedure for seamless verification of container scanning details through the CSD web portal.

This is to inform all concerned that the CSD (Container Scanning Division) has launched a new portal, accessible at csd.jnpa.in, for checking the status of container selected for scanning.

2. Checking the Container status: All stakeholders (CB, Importer/Exporter, Shipping Line, CFS, Port Terminal, etc.) can check the container status, i.e., whether the container is selected for scanning or not, and whether the container has been scanned and examined, by entering the container number, IGM number, and IGM date in the ‘Check Container Status’ tab of the web portal.

(i) Open website – jnpa.in

(ii) Click on “Check Container Status” on home page

(iii) Fill the details Container No, IGM No and IGM Date, then click on “Check Status”.

3. All stakeholders are advised to follow the above procedure to check the container scanning status on the CSD web portal.
