Seeks to rescind Notification No. 42/2016 – Customs (ADD) dated 8th August, 2016 to remove levy of ADD on PVC Flex Films vide Notification No. 3/2022-Customs (ADD), Dated: 24.01.2022.

Notification No. 3/2022-Customs (ADD)

G.S.R. 38 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (5) of section 9A of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), the Central Government revokes the anti-dumping duty imposed on “PVC Flex Films”, falling under Chapter 39 of the First Schedule to the said Act, originating in or exported from China PR and imported into India and hereby rescinds the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) Notification No. 42/2016 – Customs (ADD) dated 8th August, 2016, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i) vide number G.S.R. 776(E), dated the 8th August, 2016, except as respect things done or omitted to be done before such rescission.
