The Central Government has issued Notification No. 17/2026-Customs (ADD) dated 10 July 2026 amending Notification No. 60/2021-Customs (ADD) to extend the levy of anti-dumping duty on Aceto Acetyl Derivatives of aromatic or heterocyclic compounds (Arylides) originating in or exported from China PR. Exercising powers under Section 9A of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 read with Rules 18 and 23 of the Anti-Dumping Rules, 1995, the notification inserts a new paragraph providing that the anti-dumping duty shall remain in force up to and including 13 January 2027, unless revoked, superseded or amended earlier. The principal notification, issued on 14 October 2021, imposed producer-specific anti-dumping duty on imports of Arylides falling under specified tariff items from China PR based on the DGTR’s final findings recommending definitive anti-dumping duty. The notification continues to cover specified forms of Arylides and retains the existing producer-wise duty rates and scope of the levy. It also notes that the principal notification was last amended by Notification No. 06/2026-Customs (ADD) dated 30 April 2026.
