ESI Due date of February 2020 further extended to 15th May, 2020

Further Extension of ESI Contribution due date for the Month of February 2020 till 15^th May, 2020 

Earlier Provision : Due date on which ESI Contribution for the month of February 2020 can be filed and paid upto 15^th April 2020.

Crux of this notification: The ESI Contribution for the Month of February, 2020, can be filed and paid upto 15^th May, 2020 instead of earlier extended period of 15^th April, 2020.

NOTICE

Keeping in view the pandemic in the form of “Corona virus” (COVID-19) and lockdown in the country, the Director General has relaxed the provision as entered in regulations 26 & 31 of ‘The Employees’ State Insurance (General) Regulations, 1950′. The proviso of regulation 31 shall be read as 75 days instead of 45 days for the contribution payable for the month of February 2020 only.

The ESI contribution for the month of February, can be filed & paid up to 15^th May 2020 instead of earlier extended period of 15^th April, 2020.
