Employees’ Provident Funds (Seventh Amendment) Amendment Scheme, 2017

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 29th March, 2017

G.S.R. 299(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 read with sub-section (1) of section 7 of the Employees’ Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952 (19 of 1952), the Central Government hereby makes the following Scheme to amend the Employees’ Provident Funds (Seventh Amendment) Scheme, 2016, namely:—

1. (1) This Scheme may be called the Employees’ Provident Funds (Seventh Amendment) Amendment Scheme, 2017.

(2) It shall come into force on the day of April, 2017.

2. In the Employees’ Provident Funds (Seventh Amendment) Scheme, 2016, in paragraph (1),in sub-paragraph (2), for the figures, letters and words “31st day of March, 2017”, the figures, letters and words “30th day of June 2017″ shall be

Note: The Employees’ Provident Funds (Seventh Amendment) Scheme, 2016 was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, section 3, sub-section (i) vide notification number G.S.R. 1190(E) dated the 30w December, 2016.
