NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 6th April, 2016
G.S.R. 407(E).-In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (2) of section 36 of the Recovery of Debts Due to Banks and Financial Institutions Act, 1993 (51 of 1993), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Debts Recovery Tribunal (Procedure) Rules, 1993, namely :-
1. (1) These rules may be called the Debts Recovery Tribunal (Procedure) Amendment Rules, 2016.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Debts Recovery Tribunal (Procedure) Rules, 1993, in rule 19, for the word “Saturdays”, the words “second Saturday of a month” may be substituted.
