Exposure Draft of Revised Guidance Note on CARO 2020 issued by the Auditing and Assurance Standards Board of ICAI
The Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (AASB) of the ICAI had issued the ‘Guidance Note on the Companies (Auditor’s Report) Order, 2020‘ (Guidance Note on CARO 2020) in July 2020 to provide detailed guidance to auditors on reporting requirements of CARO 2020.
We write this to inform you that AASB is in the process of revising the Guidance Note in light of the amendments in Companies Act, 2013 (including amendments to Schedule III) made after issuance of the Guidance Note in July 2020.
In this regard, AASB has recently issued the Exposure Draft of revised Guidance Note for public comments. The Exposure Draft is available on ICAI website at the following link:

We request you to send your valuable comments on the Exposure Draft for consideration of AASB. Please note that the last date for submission of comments is June 22, 2022. Comments can be sent at email id: aasb@icai.in
