In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy 2004-2009, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby notifies Appendix 37C, in the annexure attached with this public notice, giving the list of countries that qualify for benefits under Focus Market Scheme in terms of Para 3.9 of the Foreign Trade Policy.

In order to address the above difficulty being faced at present by exporters, it has been decided that exporters making an application to authorized Agencies for issue of Certificate of Origin (NP), may leave Column No. 2 of the Certificate blank and this column may be filled up after the same is certified and signed by the authorized Agency competent to issue such a Certificate.

In exercise of powers conferred under paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-09, as notified in the Gazette of India extraordinary Part II, Section 3, Sub section (ii) and as amended from time to time, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following arrangements.

In the case of Large Taxpayer Units (LTUs) having multiple units, transfer of duty free raw material imported against the Advance Authorisation may be permitted from one unit of the company to another unit, without following the job work procedure, after fulfillment of the export obligation subject to the condition that no CENVAT benefit has been claimed on the transferred inputs and the addresses of all such units are listed in the IEC issued to the LTUs.
The words and figures “of the licensing year 2005-2006” mentioned in Para – 2 of Public Notice No. 27 (RE-2005)/2004-2009, dated 14th July, 2005 may be corrected to read as “within two years from the date of issue of this Public Notice.
In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy 2004-2009, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby notifies Appendix 37D giving details of various products that qualify for benefits under Focus Product Scheme in terms of Para 3.10 of the Foreign Trade Policy.
