Late fees imposable in terms of Bill of Entry (Forms) Amendment Regulations, 2017 vide Notification No. 27/2017-Customs (N.T) dated 31.03.2017 is hereby waived off in respect of Bills of Entry, filed belatedly, which pertains to IGMs filed on 01.02.2021 and 02.02.2021.
Licenses for all TRQs would be issued electronically and TRQ License data would be transmitted electronically to the Customs Authorities. No paper copies of the TRQ Import license will be issued by DGFT with effect from 08.02.2021.
Merchandise Exports from India Scheme is popularly known as MEIS Scheme. MEIS is a duty scrip given as a reward by the government to an exporter of goods. The value of the scrips is ranging from 2% to 5% of the FOB value of goods exported.
