The Government of India, through the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, issued Public Notice No. 14 (RE-2001)/1997-2002 on 29th May 2001, extending the last date for the export of coarse grain/maize. This extension applies to quantities allowed for export under previous public notices, including Public Notices No. 48 (RE-2000), 61 (RE-2000), 64 (RE-2000), and 9 (RE-2001), which had specified terms and conditions for export. The new deadline for shipment/export is set to 31st July 2001. The amendment was made under the Export & Import Policy for 1997-2002, incorporating relevant amendments. This decision was made in public interest and ensures continued compliance with the updated export timelines.

PUBLIC NOTICE NO.  14 ( RE-2001 ) / 1997-2002

NEW DELHI , THE   29th  May, 2001.

Attention is invited to the entry at Code No. 1001(b)  in  Table B of Schedule 2     and Sr. No. 12(ii)  of Appendix –1 to Schedule 2 in the  book titled  “ ITC(HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items, 1997-2002 ” (incorporating amendments made upto 31st August, 1998) and  as amended from time to time  specifying the terms and conditions for export of items indicated therein.

2.In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraph 4.11 of the Export & Import Policy, 1997-2002, (incorporating amendments made upto 31st March, 2001) and as amended from time to time, the following amendment  may be made in the Public Notice No. 48 ( RE-2000)/1997-2002 dated  15.12.2000 , Public Notice No. 61( RE-2000)/1997-2002 dated 13.3.2001, Public Notice No.64(RE-2000)/1997-2002 dated 16.3.2001  and  Public Notice No. 9 ( RE-2001)/1997-2002 dated 27.4.2001.

3. The last date of shipment/export of the quantities ofcoarse grain/maize  allowed for export vide the above Public Notices is extended  upto  31.7.2001.
