The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), through Public Notice No. 22/2026-27 dated 20 July 2026, has invited applications for Tariff Rate Quota (TRQ) allocation under the India–United Kingdom Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) for Calendar Year 2026. Issued under paragraphs 1.03 and 2.04 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2023, and in continuation of Public Notice No. 19/2026-27 dated 09.07.2026, the notice invites applications from 21 July 2026 to 04 August 2026. The TRQ covers specified completely built unit (CBU) motor vehicles that have not been registered anywhere before importation, including passenger vehicles classified by engine capacity with quota quantities of 2,329, 2,329 and 4,658, and goods transport motor vehicles (other than electric or hydrogen fuel vehicles) with a quota of 1,164. Imports will be permitted in accordance with the arrangements and procedure specified in Annexure VII of Appendix 2A of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2023, as referred to in Public Notice No. 19/2026-27 dated 09.07.2026.

2. The imports procedure for the items will be permitted subject to the arrangements/ procedure mentioned in Annexure-VII of Appendix 2A of the FTP. 2023 (Refer to. Public Notice No. 19/2026-27 dated 09.07.2026).
