Directorate General of Foreign Trade, under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, has issued Public Notice No. 46/2025–2026 dated 5 February 2026 extending the deadline for filing the Annual RoDTEP Return (ARR) for Financial Year 2023–24. Exercising powers under paragraphs 1.03 and 2.04 of the Foreign Trade Policy 2023, the filing timeline has been extended from 30 November 2025 to 31 March 2026, subject to payment of a composition fee of ₹15,000. The extension takes effect from the date of publication of the public notice and is intended to promote ease of doing business and support exporters. The notice also clarifies that failure to file the ARR by the extended deadline will invite action under paragraph 4.94 of the Handbook of Procedures, 2023, including denial of RoDTEP benefits and scroll-out of scrips. Exporters are therefore required to comply within the extended period to avoid loss of incentives.

Subject: – Extension of filing Annual RoDTEP Returns-reg.

F. No. 01/61/180/166/AM24/PC-3.— In exercise of the powers conferred under paragraph 1.03 & 2.04 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2023, as amended from time to time, the period for filing Annual RoDTEP Returns for Financial Year 2023-24 is further extended till 31.03.2026 with payment of a composition fee of Rs 15,000/-, effective from the date of publication of this Public Notice.

2. In case of non-filing of ARR by the extended date, measures will be taken in accordance with para 4.94 of the Handbook of Procedures (HBP), 2023, including denial of RoDTEP benefits and scroll-out of scrips.

Effect of this Public Notice: The period for filing of Annual RoDTEP Return (ARR) for FY 2023-24 has been extended from 30.11.2025 to 31.03.2026 with composition fee of Rs 15,000/-in the interest of ease of doing business and export promotion.
