Notification No. 01/2016-Customs (N.T.) These regulations may be called the Customs Brokers Licensing (Amendment) Regulations, 2016. In the said Regulations, in regulation 5, in clause (f), in sub-clause (ii), for the letters, CA/MBA/LLB, the letters CA/MBA/LLB/ACMA/FCMA shall be substituted.

Notification No. 27/2015-Central Excise (N.T.) In the CENVAT Credit Rules, 2004, in rule 9, in sub-rule (1), in clause (d), after the words “ Foreign Post Office, the words or, as the case may be, an Authorized Courier, registered with the Principal Commissioner of Customs or the Commissioner of Customs in-charge of the customs airport, shall be inserted.

Notification No. 149/2015 – Customs (N.T.) Central Government hereby rescinds the Customs Tariff (Transitional Product Specific Safeguard Duty) Rules, 2002, published by Notification No. 34/2002-NT-CUSTOMS, dated the 11th June, 2002 in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i) vide number G.S.R. 420 (E), dated the 11th June, 2002, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such rescission.

NOTIFICATION NO. 147/2015-CUSTOMS (N.T.) In exercise of the powers conferred by the second proviso to clause (ii) of sub- section (2) of section 61 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs, being satisfied that it is necessary so to do in the public interest, hereby specifies the class of goods, namely ‘crude’, imported and stored in underground rock caverns, in respect of which no interest shall be charged under the said section 61.

the rate of exchange of conversion of each of the foreign currencies specified in column (2) of each of Schedule I and Schedule II annexed hereto, into Indian currency or vice versa, shall, with effect from 18th December, 2015, be the rate mentioned against it in the corresponding entry in column (3) thereof, for the purpose of the said section, relating to imported and export goods.
