Disclosure of holding of specified securities and holding of specified securities in dematerialized form- Latest XBRL utility
Dear Sir/Madam,
This is in reference to Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has issued Circular No. SEBI/HO/CFD/PoD-1/P/CIR/2022/92 dated June 30, 2022, regarding disclosure of holding of specified securities and holding of specified securities in dematerialized form.
It may be noted that, updated XBRL utility for submission of Shareholding pattern after incorporating changes mentioned in aforementioned SEBI circular, will be made available in XBRL section of the Listing Centre w.e.f. tomorrow i.e. October 01, 2022.
Please note that the listed companies are required to submit Shareholding Pattern by downloading the latest XBRL utility of the Exchange.
Listed entities are requested to take note of the same and comply accordingly.

Subject: XBRL based filing of Shareholding Pattern Report for Listed Companies at NSE
Dear Sir/ Madam,
This is in furtherance to the circular number SEBI/HO/CFD/PoD-1/P/CIR/2022/92 dated June 30, 2022, in relation to “Disclosure of holding of Specified securities and Holding of Specified securities in dematerialized form”.
Listed Companies kindly note that the Excel Utility for filing the Shareholding Pattern Report in the prescribed format in XBRL mode will be available on the below path w.e.f. October 01, 2022.
Path: NEAPs > Compliance > Periodic Compliances > Share Holding Pattern >SHP Submission.> Download SHP XBRL Utility
Steps for submission of Shareholding Pattern Report in XBRL mode on NSE’s Electronic Application Processing System (NEAPS) Portal:
1. Using the XBRL utility generate the XML file and follow the steps as mentioned below for submission.
> Go on – NEAPS > Compliance > Common XBRL Upload > Select Shareholding Pattern from the dropdown.
> Click on “Upload XBRL File”
> Browse and select the XML file that is to be uploaded
> On successful upload, “File Uploaded successfully” message would be displayed
Further, you may refer to our Circular dated June 30, 2022, for the “Frequently asked questions (FAQs)” on new shareholder categories/subcategories as per the above-mentioned circular.
Companies are requested to comply with the requirement of listing regulations and other applicable regulations as amended from time to time. The FAQ’s can be referred only for the guidance purpose.
