SEBI Reminds Investors: Act Now to File Claims Against Defaulter Karvy Stock Broking Ltd. Before June 2, 2025 Deadline

Mumbai: The Securities Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has issued a reminder to investors regarding the approaching deadline for filing claims against Karvy Stock Broking Limited (KSBL), which was declared a defaulter by the National Stock Exchange (NSE).

According to a press release (PR No. 26/2025) issued on May 16, 2025, the deadline for affected investors to submit their claims is June 02, 2025.

Karvy Stock Broking Ltd. was declared a defaulter by the NSE on November 23, 2020. Following this declaration, claims from investors against the defaulting broker were invited in accordance with NSE’s bye-laws, rules, and regulations.

With the deadline of June 02, 2025, drawing near, SEBI is urging investors who had dealings with Karvy Stock Broking Ltd. and have outstanding claims to file them without delay, if they have not done so already.

Investors are strongly advised to take note of this critical deadline to ensure their claims are considered.

Approaching Deadline for filing claims in the matter of Karvy Stock Broking Limited

Karvy Stock Broking Ltd. was declared defaulter by NSE on November 23, 2020. As per NSE bye-laws, rules and regulations, claims against the default broker, were invited from investors and deadline for submitting such investors’ claims was fixed as June 02, 2025.

As the deadline for submitting investors’ claims against default broker Karvy Stock Broking Ltd. is approaching shortly, investors are advised to take note of the above deadline and are urged to file their claims before the deadline, if not lodged already.
