Sub: Submission of Life Certificate for Pensioners extended to 28.02.2017- reg.
The date of submission of life certificate by pensioners under Employees’ Pension Scheme 1995 was extended upto 15.01.2017 vide Head Office letter no. Pension-1/17( 1)2016/jeevan Praman/22750 dated 28.11.2016.
The Government of India has made the submission of Aadhar as identify document lul Pensioners mandatory as per Gazette Notification No. S.O. 26(E) dated 04.01,2017. As per the said notification a member or a pension of the Employees’ Pension Scheme desirous of continuing the frenetic of the said Scheme, who is not yet enrolled for Aadhar shall be required to make an application for Aadhar enrolment by 31st January 2017. The said notification was circulated vide letter no. Pension-1/17(I)2016-17/jeevan Praman dated 06.01.2017 and uploaded on EPF website at S. No. 568
Since Aadhar number her is needed for submission of jeevan Praman Patra digitally, it has been decided to extend the date of submission of digital life certificate through jeevan Praman Parra by Pensioners of” EPS 95 upto 28.02.2017, in order to obviate any difficulty faced by the pensioners. Life certificate in paper form should not be accepted.
It is also requested to regulate the payment of pension accordingly till the month of February, 2017.
