Sky Light Hospitality LLP Vs ACIT (Supreme Court)

Supreme Court dismissed SLP filed by the Sky Light Hospitality LLP firm linked to Mr. Robert Vadra, challenging  notice issued by the Income Tax Department for reassessment of its profits from the land deals in Haryana and Rajasthan in 2010-2011.

Earlier, in February, the Delhi High Court had dismissed the same.

Supreme Court said it was satisfied with the reasons given by I-T officials justifying their probe. The court also agreed that it was not a case of political vendetta as has been claimed by certain quarters.
