It is hereby notified for general information that the following scientific research programme has been approved for the period specified below for the purpose of sub-section (2A) of the section 35 of the Income-tax Act, 1961, read with rule 6 of the Income-tax Rules, 1962, by the Secretary, Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi :–
Name of the scientific research project : Basic research in Fluidisation with reference to Acrylonitrile Reactor.
Name of the sponsor : M/s. Indian Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd., Baroda.
Name of the implementing Lab. : National Chemical Laboratory, Poona.
Date of commencement : December, 1982.
Date of completion : December, 1984.
Estimated outlay : Rs. 2.40 lakhs.
2. National Chemical Laboratory, Poona, is a Unit of CSIR, which stands approved under section 10(2)(xiii) of the Income-tax Act, 1922, vide Ministry of late Finance Dept. Notification No. 34, dated 23-11-1946.
3. This approval under section 35(2A) is valid upto 28-2-1984.
