Sub: Delay in issuance of All India Annual General Transfer orders, 2019
In the grades of A/DCsIT and J/Addl.CcIT – matter rest
Kindly refer to the above.
Joint Council of Action has always demanded for early issuance of Annual General Transfer orders (both at the Board level as well as local level) so that the transferred officers and staff members can settle down in their new places of posting from the beginning of the Financial Year and discharge their duties optimaly. Certain delay in this years All India Annual General Transfer orders in the grades of A/DCsIT and J/Addl. CsIT has been anticipated due to the General Election to the Lok Sabha. At the same time, it has been expected that said AGT orders will be issued soon after the new Government takes over. However till date, there is co news regarding the current years AGT orders.
Sir, you will appreciate that budget target for Direct Tax collection allocated fvr the current financial year is quite challenging. Apart from that, officers and officials have to meet the targets of other key result areas. In such a scenario, any further delay in all India AGT orders will make things complicated for the officers to be transferred, which will have a significant impact in achieving the targets in Key Result Areas including budget collection target.
It is, therefore, requested that the necessary steps may kindly be taken so that the All India AGT orders in the grades of A/DCsIT and J/Addl. CSIT arc issued early.
