Subject: Amendment in Import Policy Condition under Chapter 39 of ITC (HS), 2022, Schedule — I (Import Policy).
S.O. 4331(E): In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 read with Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 (as amended from time to time) read with paragraph 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP), 2015-2020, the Central Government hereby amends the Import Policy and revises the Condition No.2 of Chapter 39 of ITC (HS), 2022, Schedule — I (Import Policy) as under:

However, import of PET Flakes has been permitted under an authorisation from DGFT and subject to NOC from MoEF&CC, in accordance with their O.M. No. 23/66/2019-HSMD dated 23.08.2022, subject to following conditions : i. A unit should be eligible for import only if it has used domestic waste to the extent at least 70% of the capacity in the previous year, (e.g. production of 2021-22 to be considered for 2022-23 permissions). ii. The imports for the year 2022-23 should be restricted to 20% of the production in the year 2021-22 and thereafter, 15% of the actual capacity utilized in the preceding year. iii. An additional import up to 10% may be considered against exports of the products. iv. Units would be eligible for import after at least one year of production. |
2. Effect of the Notification:
Import of PET Flakes has been permitted subject to NOC from MoEF & CC and an authorisation from DGFT.
This issues with the approval of Minister of Commerce and Industry.

Sir Ji hum Pet Flakes import karne ke liye government of India permission degi, hume trading purpose ke liye. Kaun se permission lena hoga, please Mujhe help kijiye.
Pet Flakes ko India mein import karne ke liye aapko kuch specific permissions aur licences prapt karne honge. Yahan par kuch basic steps diye gaye hain jo aapko follow karne chahiye:
Import Export Code (IEC): Sabse pehla step hai IEC (Import Export Code) prapt karna. Yeh ek unique 10-digit code hota hai jo Bharat Sarkar (Government of India) dwara diya jata hai un vyapariyon ko jo import ya export ka vyavsaay karna chahte hain. Aapko Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) ki website par jaakar IEC ke liye apply karna hoga.
GST Registration: Aapko GST mein registration karvana hoga agar aapka vyavsaay kisi specific turnover limit se adhik hai.
Customs Duty: Pet Flakes import karne par customs duty lagti hai. Aapko yeh ensure karna hoga ki aapne sahi rate par customs duty bhari hai. Iske liye aapko Customs Tariff Act ke anusar check karna padega.
Bill of Entry: Import karne ke samay aapko customs mein Bill of Entry file karni hoti hai. Yeh document aapko customs department mein submit karna padta hai jisse aapko goods clear milte hain.
Quality Standards: Kuch goods ko import karne se pehle quality checks ke liye submit karna padta hai. Aapko check karna hoga ki Pet Flakes import karne ke liye koi specific quality standards ya certifications ki zaroorat toh nahi.
Other Permissions: Kuch specific items ke liye aur bhi permissions ki zaroorat hoti hai. Aapko yeh ensure karna hoga ki Pet Flakes ke liye koi additional permissions ya licences ki zaroorat toh nahi.
Consult with CHA: Customs House Agent (CHA) se sampark karna beneficial hota hai kyunki ve aapko customs clearance mein madad kar sakte hain aur saare import ke processes ko asaan banate hain.
