Subject : Extension of time limit for allowing export of Bangalore Rose Onion till 7.12.1999 against 56 NOCs issued during the period 4.11.1999 to 9.11.1999.

Attention is invited to Policy Circular No. 41 dated 9.11.1999 extending shipment for export of Bangalore Rose Onion against NOCs issued on or before 7.9.1999 till 7th December, 1999.

It has been reported that KAPPEC had already issued 56 NOCs for a quantity of 3039 MT during 4.11.1999 to 9.11.1999. The shipments against such NOCs have not been allowed in view of the clarification given under Policy Circular No. 41 dated 9.11.1999.

In partial modification of the Policy Circular No. 41 dated 9.11.1999, it has been decided to allow shipments against 56 such NOCs issued during 4.11.1999 to 9.11.1999 for a quantity of 3039 MT of Bangalore Rose Onion. Exporters holding such NOCs shall be allowed to make shipments till 7.12.1999.

No further NOCs shall be issued by KAPPEC. The above arrangement has been made only to facilitate the shipments against the NOCs already issued during 4.11.1999 to 9.11.1999 against the earlier quota of 10,000 MT.

This issues with the approval of DGFT.
