The Government of India, through the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Department of Commerce, has issued Public Notice No. 47/2025-2026 dated 11 February 2026, amending Para 4.73(19) of the Handbook of Procedures (HBP) 2023 under the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) 2023. Exercising powers under paragraphs 1.03 and 2.04 of the FTP, the Director General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has modified the name of the listed laboratory at Serial No. 19. The entry previously recorded as “GIA Laboratory, DMCC, Dubai, UAE” has been amended to “GIA Laboratory, FZCO, Dubai, UAE.” The amendment takes immediate effect and changes only the suffix of the entity’s name from “DMCC” to “FZCO,” without altering its location or functional recognition under the HBP 2023. The public notice clarifies that this is a formal modification in nomenclature within the approved list under Para 4.73.

F. No. 01/94/180/258/AM21/PC-4.—In exercise of the powers conferred under paragraph 1.03 & 2.04 of the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP), 2023, as amended from time to time, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendment with immediate effect.
2. The amendments in Para 4.73 (19) of HBP-2023 is as under:
