Seeks to exempt Additional Duty of Customs (Road Cess) levied under section 103 of the Finance ( No. 2) Act, 1998

New Delhi, the 2nd February, 2018

G.S.R. 122(E).– In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), read with section 103 of the Finance (No. 2) Act, 1998 (21 of 1998), the Central Government on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby exempts the additional duty of customs on the goods specified in the Second Schedule to the said Finance Act.
