In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government hereby appoints the Commissioner of Customs (Port), Chennai to be the Commissioner of Customs, Custom House, Calcutta, for the purpose of adjudicating the show cause notice pertaining to M/s. Base Corporation Limited, Bangalore issued, vide DRLF.No.50D/33/98-CI., dated the 1st February, 2000 by Additional Director General, Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, New Delhi.
