This Notification amends Notification No. 48/99-Customs, dated the 29th April,1999

 Notification No. 47/2000-Customs

In Exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of te Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministryof Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 48/99-Customs, dated the 29th April,1999, namely :-

In the said notification, fo the words brackets, figures and letter “Annual Advance Licence (hereinafter referred to as the said licence), with Actual User Condition in terms of para 7.4A of the Export and Import Policy”, the words, brackets and figures ” Advance Licence for Annual Requirement (hereinafter referred to as the said licence), with Actual User Condition in terms of paragraph 7.2 of the Export and Import Policy”, shall be substituted.

Note : The principal notification No. 48/99-Customs dated the 29th April, 1999 was published in the Gazette of India, (Extraordinary) vide GSR No. 299 (E), dated the 29th April, 1999 and it was last amended by notification No. 90/99-Customs, dated  the 6th July, 1999 vide G.S.R. No. 500(E), dated the 6th July, 1999.
