This notification amends Notification No. No. 16/2000-Customs, dated the 1st March, 2000

Notification No. 34/2000-Customs
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 16/2000-Customs, dated the 1st March, 2000, namely-In the said notification, in the Table,-
(a) after S. No. 11 and the entries relating thereto the following shall be inserted, namely:-

(b) against S. No. 12, for the entry in column (2), the following shall be substituted, namely:-” 0805.10,0805.30 and 0808.20 “,
(c) against S. No. 13, for the entry in column (4), the following shall be substituted, namely:-” 35% “
(d) against S. No. 16, for the entry in column (3), the following shall be substituted, namely:-” All goods other than Meslin “,
(e) S. No. 17 and the entries relating thereto shall be omitted,
(f) for S. No. 19 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely:-

(g) against S. No. 36, for the entry in column (4), the following shall be substituted, namely:-” 35% “
