Notification No. 37/2007-Customs (N.T)

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 and sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby appoints the Commissioner of Customs (Imports), Jawahar Custom House, Nhava Sheva, to act as common adjudicating authority to exercise the powers and discharge the duties conferred or imposed on,
(i) the Commissioner of Customs, (Air Cargo-Import), Air Cargo Compex, Sahar, Andheri (E), Mumbai; and
(ii) the Commissioner of Customs, Customs House, Kandla, for the purpose of adjudicating the matters relating to show cause notice pertaining to M/s. Reliance Communication Infrastructure Limited, Dhirubhai Ambani Knowledge City, C Block, 1st Floor, Koparkhairane, Navi Mumbai 400709 and others issued, vide, F.No. DRI/AZU/INT-05/2006 dated the 8th February, 2007 by the Additional Director General, Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Ahmedabad Zonal Unit, Rupen Bungalow, Nr. Jain Merchant Society, Paldi, Ahmedabad – 380007.
