Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act, 2013 applicable from 09.12.2013

Central Government appoints 9th day of December, 2013 as the date on which the provisions of Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 shall come into force.

S.O. 3606(E).—In exerciae of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of Section 1 of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 (14 of 2013), the Central Government hereby appoints the 9th day of December, 2013 as the date on which the provisions of the said Act shall come into force.
