Govt notified rules for granting mining lease to Government companies vide Notification No. G.S.R. 927(E) dated 3rd December, 2015 which Govt has now rescinded vide Notification No. G.S.R. 777(E) Dated: 2nd November, 2021.

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 2nd November, 2021
G.S.R. 777(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 13 of the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 (67 of 1957) read with section 21 of the General Clauses Act, 1897 (10 of 1897), the Central Government hereby rescinds the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Mines number G.S.R. 927(E) dated the 3rd December, 2015 relating to the Mineral (Mining by Government Company) Rules, 2015, published in Gazette of India, Part II, section 3, subsection (i), dated the 3rd December, 2015.
(2) Notwithstanding such rescission, anything done or any action taken under the Mineral (Mining by Government Company) Rules, 2015, shall be deemed to have been done or taken under the corresponding provisions of the Minerals (Other than Atomic and Hydro Carbons Energy Minerals) Concession Rules, 2016, published in Gazette of India, Part II, section 3, sub-section (i) vide number G.S.R. 279(E), dated 4th March, 2016.
