In this editorial author shall discuss the questions and step by step process of upgradation of Register user ID as Business User ID on MCA V3 Portal. It is very easy process. However, sometimes we face some error, but the below mentioned process is completely verified.

Que 1: If a person already having ID on MCA V2 portal, Whether New Id is required to create on MCA V3? (DG)

Ans 1: In case you are already registered user on MCA v2. There is no need to create new ID on MCA V3. You can upgrade your V2 ID on MCA V3. (DG)

For the Existing Users of MCA, Fresh/New Registration is not required

Que 2: How to Log in on MCA V3 from the ID registered on MCA V2? (DG)

Ans 2: Practically there are two ways which you can use for first time log in on MCA V3 from old ID. (DG)

i. Mention user V2 User Id and Pass on MCA V3. It will login.

ii. If it doesn’t get log in then, mention your register mail id on MCA V2 and its password. It will Login.

In case, user forgets either the V2 User ID or Password, please proceed by clicking on ‘Forgot User ID or Password’.

*TRICK: If you get any error of password. Click on forget password. Then you will get OTP on your mail ID. By mentioning that OTP you can change your password and log in on MCA V3.

Que 3: If there is more than one V-2 ID from same email id. Whether we can convert both into MCA V3 ID? (DG)

Ans 3: In the given question, You can convert only one out of both ID on MCA V3 portal. Because, one Email ID can be use only once for registration on MCA V3. Every ID required Unique Email ID. (DG)

Que 4: Whether there is option to change email ID on MCA v-3 portal? (DG)

Ans 4: In Current scenario there is no option to change the email ID on MCA V3. Therefore, if you have two MCA v2 id as per Ques 3 then you can only upgrade one of them for the time being. (DG)

Que 5: How the application/ forms history shall be shown to the User? (DG)

Ans 5: Application history shall be shown only and only if user is registered on V3 portal with same V2 User ID and Password. (DG)

Steps For Registration of DSC

Important Points:

i. Every ID must have unique Email ID.

ii. Every ID must have unique Mobile No.

iii. Every ID must have unique PAN.

iv. OTP shall be received only on registered Email ID and Mobile no.

STEP 1:

Log In to MCA V-3 Portal by mentioning your User ID/ Password of MCA V2 Portal.

* In case error, mention V2 id and click on forget password. Then proceed accordingly by mentioning details followed by OTP. You will be able to log in easily.

STEP 2:

After Login Go profile update in right hand side of the window.

STEP 3:

Click on User Category. Two options shall be appeared there:

  • Register User
  • Business User – Click on Business User

STEP 4:

If you want to edit any information (which is editable). Then click on Edit option.

*Mention the Name as per PAN Database, otherwise PAN validation will fail.

STEP 5:

After completion of these information then click on ‘Add User Role’ out of (Professional, Company, Director etc).

STEP 6:

After completion of above process click on SAVE button on the right side.

    How to change User ID. Currently setup as greater than 11 Characters. On the MCA website it mentions for ‘Individual’ to ‘Register’ with email ID (K.golani@gmail.com). However, on downloading IEPF Form 5 it returns an error USER ID greater than 11 character (K.golani@gm). Could you please assist
