NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 30th January, 2012
S.O. 190(E). —In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of Section 1 of the Chartered Accountants (Amendment) Act, 2011 (No. 3 of 2012) the Central Government hereby appoints the 1st day of February, 2012 as the date on which the provision of the said Act shall come into force.

The CWA (Amendment) Act, 2011 has come into force with effect from 1st February, 2012, whereby the name of our Institute has been changed to ‘The Institute of Cost Accountants of India’ and the Associate & Fellow Members of the Institute are entitled to use the letters ‘ACMA’ & ‘FCMA’ respectively after their names. Relevant Notification is given below
