Applicants who applied for the Restricted import Authorisation for Moong, Tur and Urad for period 2021-22 as per the previous Notifications may choose to apply for refund of application fees, according to the procedural steps laid below.
Free Import policy for Tur /Pigeon Peas (Cajanus Cajan); and Urad [Beans of the SPP Vigna Mungo (L.) Hepper] is extended for the period up to 31st December 2021. Further, import consignments of these items with Bill of Lading issued on or before 31st December, 2021 shall not be allowed by Customs beyond 31st January 2022.
For imports under Notification 20/2015-20 dated 24.08.2021, the last date of shipment or date of issuance of the Bill of Lading or Lorry Receipt date is 31.10.2021. Import consignments of these items with Bill of Lading/Lorry Receipt issued on or before 31st October, 2021 shall not be allowed by Customs beyond 31st January 2022.
All Regional Offices are requested to re-fix the Annual average export obligation for EPCG Authorizations for the years 2019-20 and 2020-21 accordingly. Reduction, if any. in the FO should be appropriately endorsed in the licence file of the Office of RA as also in the amendment sheet to be issued to the EPCG Authorisation holder.
Under the decisive leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri NarendraModi, Government of India has decided to budget Rs 56,027 crore in this Financial Year FY 21-22 itself in order to disburse all pending export incentives due to exporters. This amount includes claims relating to MEIS, SEIS, RoSL, RoSCTL, other scrip based schemes relating to earlier policies and the remission support for RoDTEP and RoSCTL for exports made in the 4th quarter of FY 20-21. Benefits would be disbursed to more than 45,000 exporters, out of which about 98% are small exporters in the MSME category.
It has now been decided to introduce the ‘Revised Transport and Marketing Assistance (TMA) for Specified Agriculture Products Scheme’ for the exports effected on or after 01.04.2021. The earlier scheme would remain in operation for the exports effected up to 31.03.2021.
Notification No. 24/2015-2020 Import policy of Mercury has been revised from ‘Free’ to ‘Restricted’ subject to obtaining Prior Informed Consent from MoEF&CC.
