The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, issued a Corrigendum dated October 10, 2025, to amend its earlier Public Notice No. 05/25 dated May 6, 2025. Exercising powers under the Foreign Trade Policy 2023, the DGFT modified the Standard Input Output Norms (SION) C888 by making a specific correction to the item of export description. The word “Circular” has been officially removed from the description of the exported item, which now reads: “Small and large-size Stainless Steel washers of different grades.” This modification is effective immediately, broadening the scope of the export item under SION C888 beyond only circular washers.

CORRIGENDUM
Subject: Corrigendum to Public Notice No. 05/25 dated 06.05.2025 for modification in Standard Input Output Norms (SION) C888.
In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 1.03 and 2.04 of the Foreign Trade Policy 2023, as amended from time to time, the Director General of Foreign Trade makes the following correction by removing the word “Circular” from the item of export description (“Small and large-size “Circular” Stainless Steel washers of different grades”) as per Public Notice No. 05/25 dated 06.05.2025, as under:
