The Institute of Companies Secretaries of India offers the position of CRC Executive to Young Company Secretaries as per its MOU with CRC, Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA).

FAQ based upon the above post for which vacancies are released from time to time.

1. Who is eligible to be appointed as a CRC Executive?

Member of Institute of Companies Secretary of India and fulfilling the age criteria, at present not more than 31 years of age as on cut-off date.

2. What is the minimum experience required for post of CRC Executive?

There is no minimum experience required for applying, even freshers can apply for this post. However, preference may be given to candidates having at least one year of post qualification experience.

3. What is the nature of this post?

The post is completely contractual in nature. The contract is initially for one year, which can be extended by two years.

In other words, a person can hold this post for a maximum period of 3 years. (1+1+1)

4. What is the major role and responsibility associated with this role?

a. Processing of name reservation forms

b. Processing of Company Incorporation forms

5. What is the remuneration being offered?

The consolidated pay-out will be in the range of Rs. 33,000/- to 40,000/- depending upon the post qualification experience of candidate as described below

No other allowances or perquisites are provided, other than those mentioned above

6. Is CRC five days working?

In general CRC works for 5 days in a week, however in case of pendency’s regarding to e-forms related to incorporation and name reservation, Ministry can issue orders for working of CRC on Saturday, Sunday or any other holiday.

CRC Executives working on Saturday, Sunday or any other holiday are paid an overtime of Rs. 2500/- for each such day over and above the consolidated pay-out.

7. Any deductions chargeable over consolidated pay-out?

10% TDS is deducted from the above-mentioned consolidated pay-outs.

However, candidates can claim their TDS refund at the time of ITR filing.

8. What will be the job location, is there any provision for work from home?

Central Registration Centre, Corporate Bhawan, Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs, Plot No. 6,7,8 Sector 5, IMT Manesar, Gurgaon, Haryana 122050.

It is totally work from office job, with no provisions of work from home.

9. What is the notice period of resignation?

As per the employment contract, CRC Executives are expected to serve a notice period of 30 days in case of resignation.

10. Can I join CRC once again, after resignation?

No, candidate who was employed earlier at CRC or IEPF is not eligible to apply for the said   post again.

11. Who monitors the work of CRC Executives?

The processing of forms by CRC executives is monitored by the ICLS Officers.

Working at a place like CRC, should be matter of pride for anyone. As CRC Executive a person contributes directly to the nation building exercise. If money is the only motivating factor to work, then a candidate may look out for other available opportunities.

It is advisable to offer service at such place may be even for a short tenure to get familiar with the working of CRC, MCA.
