Will the Minister of CORPORATE AFFAIRS be pleased to state:
(a) whether the Government has received any complaints from small and medium industries regarding compliance with norms and rules laid down by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) and if so, the details thereof; and
(b) whether the Government has taken steps to provide appropriate support and guidance to the growth of small and medium industries in the country particularly in the State of Uttar Pradesh?

(a) Ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) has forwarded a reference relating to representation from Thane Small Scale Industries Association regarding implementation of provision of Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development (MSMED) Act, 2006 in the matter of delayed payment to MSMEs in March, 2022.
(b) The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has introduced MSME Form-1 vide order dated 22-01-2019 issued under Section 405 of the Companies Act, 2013 according to which all companies, who get supplies of goods or services from Micro and Small Enterprises and whose payments to micro and small enterprises suppliers as per the provision of Section 9 of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Act, 2006 (27 of 2006), shall submit a return to the MCA stating the amount of payment due and the reasons of the delay.
