Notification No. 36/2020-Customs (ADD)- Seeks to rescind notification No. 27/2015-Customs (ADD) dated 1st June, 2015 to remove the anti-dumping duty applicable on imports of acrylic fibre from Thailand

New Delhi, the 11th November, 2020

G.S.R. 707(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (5) of section 9A of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), the Central Government revokes the antidumping duty imposed on “Acrylic Fibre”, falling under chapter 55 of the First Schedule to the said Act, originating in or exported from Thailand, and imported into India and hereby rescinds the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 27/2015-Customs (ADD) dated the 1st June, 2015, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, vide number G.S.R. 445 (E), dated the 1st June, 2015, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such rescission.
