Subject: Amendment in policy condition of items classified under Exim Code 8803 of Chapter 88 of ITC (HS), 2012-Schedule-1 (Import Policy).
In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 of FT (D&R) Act, 1992, read with paragraph 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-2020, as amended from time to time, the Central Government hereby amends the policy condition of items classified under Exim Code 8803 of Chapter 88 of ITC (HS), 2012-Schedule-1 (Import Policy)
2. The existing import of policy conditions of the items classified under Exim Code 8803 in Chapter 88 of ITC (HS), 2012 Schedule I (Import Policy) are as under:

| 8803 20 00 | Under carriages and parts thereof | Free | Import of reconditioned or second hand parts shall be allowed without a licence to categories specified in the Handbook of Procedures, Vol. I on recommendation of DGCA. |
| 8803 30 00 | Other parts of Aeroplanes or Helicopters | Free | Import of reconditioned or second hand parts shall be allowed without a licence to categories specified in the Handbook of Procedures, Vol. I on recommendation of DGCA. |

4. Effect of this Notification: Hereafter, there is no requirement for ‘recommendation from DGCA’ for import of reconditioned / second hand aircraft parts
