Subject: List of capital goods not permitted/permitted for import under the EPCG Scheme-reg.

In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraph 1.03 of the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) 2015-20, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendment in Appendix 5F (List of Capital Goods not permitted/permitted for import subject to specific conditions under the EPCG Scheme) of the FTP 2015-20, notified vide DGFT’s Public Notice No. 47/2015-20 dated 06.12. 2017:

After Sr. No.14, the following is added:

15. Pre-fabricated Polyurethane Foam (PUF) panels/doors Permitted for use in (i) Chilled Rooms and (ii) Cold Storages set up by the Units for storage of fresh fruits and vegetables, meant for exports under the EPCG Scheme.

Effect of this Public Notice: Imports of PUF panels/doors for chilled rooms/cold storages for storage of fresh fruits and vegetables are allowed under the EPCG Scheme.
