seeks to amend notification No. 27/2011-Customs, dated the 1st March, 2011, so as to reduce export duty on raw sugar, white or refined sugar from 20% to Nil

Notification No. 30/2018-Customs

New Delhi, the 20th,March, 2018

G.S. R. (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 27/2011-Customs, dated the 1st March, 2011, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, vide number G.S.R. 153(E), dated the 1st March, 2011, namely :-

In the said notification, in the Table, after serial number 64 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number and entries shall be inserted, namely:-

(1) (2) (3) (4)
“65. 1701 Raw sugar, white or refined sugar Nil”.

Note.- The principal notification No. 27/2011-Customs, dated the 1st March, 2011 was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), vide number G.S.R. 153(E), dated the 1st March, 2011 and last amended vide notification No. 23/2018-Customs, dated the 2nd February, 2018 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), vide number G.S.R. 126 (E), dated the 2nd February, 2018.
