Colgate-Palmolive (India) Limited has announced several significant developments following its Board of Directors meeting held on 22 October 2026. The company has approved the unaudited financial results for the second quarter and half-year ending 30 September 2026, as per the requirements of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) Listing Regulations. The results, accompanied by the auditors’ review report, have been duly recorded and shared with the relevant stock exchanges.
In a move that will interest shareholders, Colgate-Palmolive India has declared a first interim dividend of Rs. 24 per equity share for the financial year 2026-27. This dividend will be distributed starting 19 November 2026 to shareholders whose names appear in the company’s register as of the record date, 2 November 2026. The decision underscores the company’s ongoing commitment to delivering shareholder value.
The Board meeting also saw important changes in the company’s executive team. Ms. Ragini Gajaria has been appointed as the Internal Auditor, effective immediately, following the Audit Committee’s recommendation. Additionally, Mr. Gunjit Jain, the Executive Vice President of Marketing, has tendered his resignation, effective 30 November 2026, to pursue other professional opportunities. Furthermore, the company plans to seek shareholder approval for the appointment of Mr. Manish Anandani as Managing Director and CEO through a postal ballot process. The cut-off date for determining eligible members for this process is set for 23 October 2026. The postal ballot will be overseen by appointed scrutinisers to ensure a fair and transparent process.
These developments come amid a backdrop of Colgate-Palmolive India’s strong financial performance, as evidenced by its recent quarterly results. Analysts will likely monitor how these executive changes and financial strategies impact the company’s market position and shareholder returns in the coming quarters.
