Considering the benefits ushered in by providing single point interface, CBIC has decided to extend TSKs to all the Customs formations. Accordingly, TSK is being set up in JNCH with effect from 15.07.2020. This step is being taken in advance of the pan-India rollout of Faceless Assessment, which would be done in phases to be announced soon.

Presently no staff from Animal Quarantine Department (AQCS) has been deployed at JNCH for drawl and collection of sample. Therefore, the samples are being drawn for AQCS in presence of the customs officer and sealed samples are delivered to Customs broker for depositing the same in the Animal Quarantine office located at Kopar khairane, Navi Mumbai. AQCS has also expressed their inability to depute AQO for JNCH on full time basis due to staff shortage.
Paragraph 2.20(b) of HBP of FTP 2015-2020 has been amended to allow revalidation of the Export Authorization / License for Non-SCOMET and SCOMET items from DGFT (Hors).

The general waiver of late filing charges will not be available with respect to Bill of Entry for IGMs where entry inwards date is after 31.05.2020. In respect of Bill of Entry filed for IGMs where entry inwards date is upto 31.05.2020, the general waiver shall cease to be available to Bill of Entry filed after 08.06.2020.
