IEC certificates shall be sent to the applicants on the address indicated in the application by registered post only. In exceptional cases, as decided by the Head of Office of the concerned RA, such certificates may be handed over to the applicants. In case any certificate is returned undelivered by postal authorities, RA may take immediate necessary action in terms of disabling the Code No. on EDI and carry out a thorough antecedent check of the firm before IEC is made operational again.
The name of the following agency at S. No. 26 under the State of Maharashtra in Appendix 4- C of HBP (Vol-I) has been changed
In the statement of Standard Input Output Norms (SION) as contained in the Handbook of Procedures (Vol.2), 2004-2009, as amended from time to time, amendments/corrections at appropriate places as mentioned in ANNEXURE “A” to this Public Notice are made.
For every one percent increase in the oil content beyond 46% in Shea Nut, the permitted quantity for its import may decrease by 150 kgs on pro-rata basis and for every one percent decrease in oil content below 44% in Shea Nut, the permitted quantity for its import may increase by 150 kgs on prorata basis.

In Public Notice No.165 (RE 2008)/2004-09 dated 27.3.2009, the date of the Public Notice No.65 (RE-2008)/2004-09 referred in the second paragraph which was erroneously mentioned as 19.8.2009 stands corrected to read as 19.8.2008.
For supply of High Speed Diesel / Furnace Oil from Depots of domestic oil Public Sector Undertakings under para 8.2(b) of FTP, Terminal Excise duty shall be refunded on the basis of duty paid certificate issued by concerned domestic oil Public Sector Undertaking in the format given in Annexure I to ANF 8. Duty refund will be allowed for quantity of HSD/Furnace oil procured by EOU/EHTP/STP/BTP, for its production activities, as certified by concerned DC/Bond authorities.
