This Act may be called the Negotiable Instruments (Amendment) Act, 2018. (2) It shall come into force on such date as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
Govt notifies Fugitive Economic Offenders Act, 2018. It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 21st day of April, 2018. The provisions of this Act shall apply to any individual who is, or becomes, a fugitive economic offender on or after the date of coming into force of this Act.
S.O. (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Companies (Amendment) Act, 2017 (1 of 2018), the Central Government hereby appoints the day of 31st July, 2018 as the date on which the provisions of Section 36 of the said Act shall come into force.
