I am directed to refer to your letter Reference No. Confdn/Casual Labour/2015-19 dated 29th June, 2016 addressed to Department of Personnel & Training, New Delhi on the subject mentioned above and to inform you on receipt of your request through the Department of Personnel & Training, the case was referred to the Ministry of Finance, Department of Expenditure, New Delhi for taking suitable action, as deemed fit. The matter was duly examined by the Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance and has not been agreed to the request.

You may be aware that 1-IRMS Module of ITBA has recently been launched For successful implementation of HRMS module, each employee of the department should have access through Intranet However, challenges like non availability of space to house those many computers, furniture and insufficient electric meter/ generator set capacities posed by ensuring access to each employee through Intranet were communicated by few CIT (Admin/TPS) Accordingly, proposal for creation of Terminal Computer banks in IT offices across the country for providing access to HRMS Module of ITBA has been approved by the competent Authorities with direction that all Group A and B officers should be provided with RSA Tokens

Requirements for credit of first pension to his/ her account by bank

It is observed that banks are still insisting upon the pensioners for completion of formalities like submission of life certificate, letter of Undertaking and certificate of non-employment to credit their first payment and other dues to their pension account resulting into inconvenience to the pensioners defeating the very purpose of simplifying the pension procedures.

Timely and proper redressal of public grievances: CBDT

Time and again it has been impressed upon all the Pr. Chief Commissioners, Chief Commissioners and their subordinate officers to attend to these grievances on priority. It was also conveyed that the senior officers shall personally monitor specified number of grievances and shall ensure that the grievances in their Region/Charge are resolved within the prescribed timeline of 30 days.
