In accordance with the decision taken by institute recently, it is brought to the notice of the students that effective from June, 2011 Session, the system of dispatch of Admit Cards in physical form will be discontinued. The Institute will arrange to upload the E-Admit Cards on the website of the Institute which can be downloaded by the students.

The Institute is organizing a Campus Placement for the fresher members for job placement and for students for their 15 Months Training on Saturday, the 30th April, 2011 at NOIDA office of ICSI, C-37,Sector 62, NOIDA-201301. Process to be followed for Campus Placement scheduled to be held on 30th April 2011 1. Name of the participating companies will be announced at the Campus. 2. Students already undergoing 15 Months training are not eligible to participate in the Campus Placement.

As you are aware, the Elections to the 11th Council and four Regional Councils of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India were held in 2010 in accordance with the Company Secretaries (Election to the Council) Rules, 2006 read with the Company Secretaries Act, 1980 and the Company Secretaries Regulations, 1982. The elections to the Managing Committees to the Chapters were also held recently in terms of the Company Secretaries Chapter Guidelines, 1983.

A local court trying Satyam Computers multi-crore accounting scam today recorded the version of Company Secretary of Mahindra Satyam G Jayaraman. Incidentally, Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) has named Jayaraman as an accused in the Satyam scam. The case is separately being tried in another court.
