In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (ii) of sub-section (1) of section 80L of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Government hereby specifies the following debentures, in the nature of bonds, namely:-
BONDS HELD IN PHYSICAL FORM
(i) The Industrial Development Bank of India Regular Income Bond (2003A) of 15th Series bearing distinctive numbers from 1000001 to 1060006 under option A, distinctive numbers from 1101523 to 1105325 under Option B, distinctive numbers from 1107543 to 1115820 under Option C distinctive numbers from 1115821 to 1211539 under Option D distinctive numbers from 1290775 to 1293290 under Option E distinctive numbers from 1293327 to 1294702 under Option F;
(ii) The Industrial Development Bank of India Growing Interest Bond (2003A) of 15th Series bearing distinctive numbers from 800001 to 802155 of the face value of Rs. 5.000/- each;
(iii) The Industrial Development Bank of India Infrastructure (Tax Saving) Bond (2003 A) of 15th Series bearing
distinctive numbers from 1 to 455001 under Option A,
distinctive numbers from 462780 to 489188 under Option B,
distinctive numbers from 489999 to 692758 under Option C
distinctive numbers from 695118 to 719865 under Option D;
BONDS HELD IN DEMAT FORM
(i) The Industrial Development Bank of India Regular Income Bond (2003A) of 15th Series bearing distinctive numbers from 1060007 to 1101522 under option A, distinctive numbers from 1105326 to 1107542 under Option B, distinctive numbers from 1211540 to 1290774 under Option D distinctive numbers from 1293291 to 1293326 under Option E;
(ii) The Industrial Development Bank of India Growing Interest Bond (2003A) of 15th Series bearing distinctive numbers from 802156 to 802411 of the face value of Rs.5,000/- each; and
(iii) The Industrial Development Bank of India Infrastructure (Tax Saving) Bond (2003 A) of 15th Series bearing
distinctive numbers from 455005 to 462779 under Option A,
distinctive numbers from 489189 to 489998 under Option B,
distinctive numbers from 692759 to 695117 under Option C
distinctive numbers from 719866 to 720420 under Option D
issued by the Industrial Development Bank of India, Mumbai, a corporation established under section 3 of the Industrial Development Bank of India Act, 1964 (10 of 1964) in its public issue of bonds in Flexibonds-15th series, for the purposes of the said clause.
