Notification No. 39 of 2004, dt. 4th Feb., 2004

In exercise of the power conferred by Section 120 of the Income – tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Board of Direct taxes hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, (Department of Revenue), Central Board of Direct Taxes, published in the Gazette of India, Part II, Section 3 (ii) dated the 31st July, 2001 S.O.733 (E), as amended from time to time, namely:-

(1) In the Schedule – 1 to the said notification, for serial numbers 3 and 7 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely:-

2. This notification will take force with effect from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.
