Trent Limited, a prominent player in the Indian retail sector, has announced a notable increase in its standalone revenue for the second quarter of the financial year 2027 (Q2FY27). The company reported a 23% year-on-year growth in revenue, reaching ₹5,788 crore, compared to ₹4,724 crore in the same period last year. For the first half of the financial year 2027 (H1FY27), the revenue rose by 21% to ₹11,454 crore, up from ₹9,505 crore in H1FY26.
The revenue growth was driven by strong performance in the sale of merchandise, which also saw a 23% increase in the quarter and a 21% rise for the half-year period, excluding other operating income. This robust performance underscores Trent’s successful expansion and strategic initiatives in the competitive retail market.
In addition to its financial achievements, Trent Limited marked a significant milestone by opening its 1000th Zudio store during the quarter. As of 30th September 2026, the company’s retail portfolio comprises 1,342 stores across its Westside, Zudio, and other lifestyle brands. The company opened a net of 10 Westside stores and 17 Zudio stores in Q2FY27, with a total of 11 and 36 stores added respectively in the first half of the fiscal year.
The reported figures are subject to audit by the company’s statutory auditors, and further details will be available in the press release on Trent Limited’s official website. Analysts have noted that Trent’s strategic expansion and consistent revenue growth reflect its strong market position and effective business model in the Indian retail landscape.
