The Government of India, through Public Notice No. 9 (RE-2001) dated 27th April 2001, has extended the export deadline for coarse grains. This notice, issued under the powers granted by Paragraph 4.11 of the Export & Import Policy, 1997-2002, modifies the earlier Public Notices No. 48 (RE-2000) and No. 61 (RE-2000), dated December 15, 2000, and March 13, 2001, respectively. The deadline for the shipment/export of coarse grains specified in these notices has now been extended to 31st May 2001. This extension applies to the quantities of coarse grains allowed for export as per the conditions mentioned in the ITC(HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items, 1997-2002. The notification is issued in public interest to facilitate smooth export processes.

Attention is invited to the entry at Code No. 1001(b) in Table B of Schedule 2 and Sr. No. 12(ii) of Appendix –1 to Schedule 2 in the book titled “ ITC(HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items, 1997-2002 ” (incorporating amendments made upto 31st August, 1998) and as amended from time to time specifying the terms and conditions for export of items indicated therein.
2. In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraph 4.11 of the Export & Import Policy, 1997-2002, (incorporating amendments made upto 31st March, 2001) and as amended from time to time, the following amendment may be made in the Public Notice No. 48 ( RE-2000)/1997-2002 dated 15.12.2000 and Public Notice No. 61( RE-2000)/1997-2002 dated 13.3.2001:-
3.The last date of shipment/export of the quantities of coarse grain allowed for export vide the above Public Notices is extended upto 31.5.2001.
