Public Notice No. 32/2002-07, issued on 22nd August 2002 by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, announces amendments to the “Schedule of DEPB Rates.” These changes are made under the authority of the Export and Import Policy 2002-07 and the Handbook of Procedures 2002-07. For engineering products, DEPB rates are revised for cold rolled galvanized steel, hot rolled non-alloy steel, and other steel sheets, with specific value caps for DEPB entitlement. The notice also deletes entries for certain steel products (S. Nos. 493 and 494). Additionally, the DEPB rate for Roxarsone (USP) under the chemicals and allied products category is corrected, with a revised rate of 11.00 and a value cap of Rs. 550 per kg. This notification serves to correct and update the DEPB schedule, benefiting stakeholders in the export industry.

In exercise of powers conferred under paragraph 2.4 of the Export and Import Policy, 2002-07 and paragraph 1.1 of Handbook of Procedures, 2002-07 (Vol.1), the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments/ corrections in the book titled “Schedule of DEPB Rates.”
